STUDIO LÍṢÌÍDÀ?

Studio Líṣìídà is a multidisciplinary design practice rooted in cultural sustainability, memory, and material exploration. Founded by Nigerian-born designer and aspiring architect Demilade Fasoranti, the studio works across fashion, architecture, objects, and visual culture; grounded in the belief that design is a tool for remembering, questioning, and evolving.
At the heart of the studio’s ethos is the Yoruba principle of "sawari" ; to explore, to seek, to know more. This spirit of inquiry shapes the work across disciplines, from built environments to garments to speculative projects. Every design pursuit becomes part of what Demilade calls a living archive; a constantly evolving body of work that preserves, interprets, and reimagines culture through form.

The studio takes its name from Líṣìídà, a Yoruba praise name connected to place, lineage, and memory ; themes that echo throughout its process.
Each project, whether architectural or sartorial, reflects a commitment to designing with history.
Studio Líṣìídà’s first expression is Líṣìídà, a fashion brand centered on textile storytelling and intentional materiality.
But the studio’s scope continues to grow, spanning explorations in spatial research, heritage-driven experiences, and beyond. Studio Líṣìídà is a house of ideas in motion. It's a living archive of design, culture, and the questions we carry forward.
